Monthly Motto for January

Henry B. Eyring in the 2009 conference said “There may be a few who mistakenly feel they are good enough and a few who have given up trying to be better. But, for all, the message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is that we can and must expect to become better as long as we live.”
Through our Savior and his atonement we have so many opportunities in our lives to repent and start anew. We have the opportunity each week to take the sacrament and renew those covenants we made to keep ourselves clean and worthy to enter our Heavenly Father's presence once more.
Our Saviors' merciful and immense sacrifice enables us to have many chances to set new goals to become better. This new year is the perfect opportunity to do so. Even though we may sometimes feel that we “aren't good enough” or “aren't worthy” we must always remember that our best friend and Savior has already paid the price for our mistakes and shortcomings and has provided us the opportunity to repent and be forgiven. We will ALWAYS be worth it because He died for US. Let us each remember our Savior and His sacrifice by taking advantage of his atonement by continually improving ourselves and helping those around us do the same.
